Mariel was working as a pediatric nurse and I (Michael), had been laid off from work in the wine industry after a 15 year career beginning in Sonoma and serendipitously landing in Oregon in 2018.
The world was ending so we bet our last chips on a new path, which led to experimenting with unique techniques for fermentation in our garage. It was in that garage, together, we forged the beginning of guerrilla wine co.
